LEED Certified
Systems and Products Used: TCW-250 Impact Glazing System with modifications to utilize Oldcastle Glass® Azuria™ 1-5/16” insulated glazing units. Specialized stainless steel brackets attach custom Intertec sunshades to curtain wall system.
Custom face caps, intermittent spandrel areas, external sun shading devices and insulated glazing all had a hand in helping this project achieve LEED certification, as well as impact resistance. The project had an array of custom design features, including offset mullions and sunshades, which were integrated directly into the impact curtain wall system, a first of its kind in South Florida.
