Systems and Products Used: Doralco Smooth As Glass sliding door system; Oldcastle Glass® clear tempered glass; Standard Bent Vanceva® blue laminated glass; Joel Berman ½” corrugated glass and ¼” aqua art glass

The bluprint restaurant & lounge is a high-end establishment located in the Merchandise Mart. The owner desired an entrance with a very classy look when closed, and when open allowed for a high volume of foot traffic. This was accomplished using the Doralco Smooth As Glass sliding door system. To close off a separate room for private parties, a distinct partition wall was created using this same sliding glass door system with Standard Bent Vanceva® blue laminated glass. Joel Berman corrugated glass was installed and backlit to serve as a divider between the restaurant and the restrooms. This was a custom installation that required a great deal of coordination between project management and the other trades as well as the owner and resulted in a very successful project.
