Adjacent to the existing 17-story facility, this 25-story glass enclosed senior living center incorporates breathtaking views of Atlanta’s Buckhead community into every living space. To ensure a comfortable, yet energy efficient indoor environment, THW Design selected a low-e glass with Cariba tint in the vision areas, as well as EverGreen and full sandblast in the spandrels. Extended 6” curtain wall covers and aluminum composite panels throughout were an added architectural feature. To bring the outside into high-rise living, concealed vents and terrace doors were incorporated into most residences.
